Isla Reta: A Paradise Island
The Philippines, being an archipelago of more than seven thousand islands, never runs out of beautiful beaches to amaze local and domestic tourists alike. From the Northern island of Luzon to the Southern most part of Mindanao, tourists flock to the beaches all year round.
Isla Reta may not be one of the most visited beach resorts in Davao but I must say that it is naturally beautiful. Having grown up in a coastal town with beautiful beaches and natural springs, I am not easily impressed with just any beaches; I know exactly what makes a beautiful beach resort.
They have non air conditioned room for an overnight stay or you may opt to use a camping tent if you have one. They have cottages which can surely accommodate a huge party and clean rest rooms and shower rooms; a volleyball court for those who love the sport; and a restaurant where you can order foods and drinks.Although the resort may not have the best amenities compared to other beach resorts in the region, it is not bad either. It is the natural beauty of the place that makes it appealing to people.
If you want to distance yourself from the noisy and past paced city life even just for a few days, then you can never go wrong with Isla Reta. Beautiful is an understatement. This place is very serene. Its fine sand is a pleasant sensation to your feet; clean white that under the sun it shines. The water is green to blue and equally inviting. The place seems to talk to your inner most self asking you to appreciate the nature at its finest.
