Pete's Point, Damosa
I'm sure you all have heard of Davao's strict implementation of its liquor ban from 1:00 to 8:00 in the morning. Yes! This ordinance is strictly implemented in the city of Davao but this is not what I'm going to talk about. On the contrary, I will share about one of the many bars in Davao City - The Pete's Point, located in Damosa.
Pete's Point or is commonly known as Tiloy's, especially by their regular customers, is one of the favorite hangouts of students and BPO employees in Davao City. Because the bar is just within the vicinity of call center companies like Concentrix in Damosa, IBEX in SM Premiere, and VXI in Robinsons, most of its customers are BPO exmployees. Other regular customer group are employees from different companies based in Damosa and quite a number of students from few of the known colleges/universities in Davao City.
Here in Pete's Point, they offer a menu of food which customers can order at an affordable rate. The drinks on the other hand, although a little higher than buying from the convenience store, is nevertheless affordable as compared to having it in some other resto-bars. The choices of drinks can range from Red Horse which is by far the most popular among customers; Emperador light which is usually mixed with ice tea; San Miguel for those who can't take a really strong beer, and other non - alcoholic beverages.
The place has live band playing during weekends and customers who love singing may use the videoke machine for 5 pesos/song (as far as I can remember). I've heard that sometimes, other customers would prefer to reserve the entire place for them and their group. This I think is possible when a huge group of individual wishes to use the place for activities like team building, company events, etc. If your group is interested to reserve the whole place for your events, you may inquire about it on their Facebook Page.
